HORNETS, FIELDING HOMES ONCE AGAIN PARTNERING ON CONTEST OFFERING CHANCE TO WIN $350,000 TOWARD NEW HOME

December 28, 2017 – The Charlotte Hornets and Fielding Homes, the single-family homebuilding division of Crescent Communities, have launched a contest for the second straight season that will give one Hornets fan the opportunity to shoot a half-court shot to win $350,000 toward a new home or $100,000 in cash.

The contest runs now through March 22 and can be entered by visiting fieldinghomes.com/hornets.  Five finalists will be selected to compete in a free-throw contest during the Hornets game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on March 28.  The winner will advance to shoot a half-court shot during the team’s game against the Indiana Pacers on April 8 for the chance to win $350,000 toward a new Fielding Homes home or $100,000 in cash.

In February 2016, Crescent Communities launched Fielding Homes with Masons Bend in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Homes are now also being offered in Paddlers Cove at Lake Wylie, North Carolina, and in Chapel Cove in Charlotte.  In the fall of 2017, Fielding Homes launched its first Raleigh area community with Forest Ridge in Hillsborough, North Carolina.  They will open their second Raleigh-area community, Trinity Creek in Holly Springs, in early 2018.
